In 1950, a native of Delphi, Ioannis Kaltsis and his wife Kondylia, inspired by the beauty of the area, founded in the main street of the modern village of Delphi the well-known hotel and restaurant “Iniohos”. Soon, his hotel became the attraction for many of Delphi’s renowned guests and culture aficionados. Later, his descendants, respecting not only the tradition but also the importance of the ancient site, renovated Iniohos, while retaining the high quality of all its services. Nowadays, the modern pilgrim at the Sanctuary of Apollo can find at Iniohos in Delphi, unique accommodation as well as a variety of local dishes prepared with local olive oil. Iniohos is located just 300 metres from the archaeological site and the Museum of Delphi, offering a serene panoramic view of the Corinthian Gulf and the famous olive tree valley of Amfissa. Moreover, our guests can enjoy the sea at the nearby sandy beaches on the Corinthian Gulf (approximately 15 km away) or winter sports at the Ski Centre of Mount Parnassus (approximately 27 km away).
